A Cup of Blessing

DSC00008

I went to a Fu-Bon bank, which is near my place, to cash out a check, the other day.
An eye-catching, colorful, giant, cup stood right in front of the building.
I like the the happy feeling it brought to me, very much.
It did make my day. :D

As soon as I back home from the bank, I googled a little bit and see if I could find out some information about the cup.
It's too bad that I could only find information in Chinese...
So...Here are the information in my poor English. >_<

The days that make us happy make us wise.
John Masefield

Everything starts from here, wanted people having days that make us happy make us wise.
The Chinese name of this cup is 一杯子的祝福, means "a cup of blessing."
It's a work of a local artist, Hong Yi.
"A cup" in Mandarin "yi bei zi" sounds like "a whole lifetime" in Mandarin, Therefore "a cup of blessing" symbolize "blessed whole lifetime."
The cup even pops steam at night so people can feel "the warm of bleass."

Through the colorful, funny, and happy-look images, wonderland-like size, and 5 Kaleidoscope peek holes on the cup, Hong Yi is express the joy of this surprising urban wonderland.

(The days that make us happy make us wise.)
